Colby Longhorn

One of the first truly American cheeses, Colby cheese was invented here in Wisconsin in 1874 and we’ve been perfecting it ever since. Milder, creamier, and softer than cheddar, this smooth cheese goes well with Syrah, Zinfandel and Shiraz wines.

A great melter, Colby is a favorite of grilled cheese sandwiches, often made with rye bread, and is great served with apples or pears. This moist and mild cheese is loved by kids and adults alike, and is perfect for snacks, sandwiches, and salads.
